Hommer Zhao is the founder and general manager of the manufacturing group behind Robotics Cable Assembly. He has spent his career in wire harness and cable assembly engineering, working with OEM and Tier-1 buyers to turn robot cabling drawings into manufacturable, repeatable builds.
His focus is the part of the job that decides whether a cable survives in the field: conductor and jacket selection for flex and torsion life, connector orientation and strain relief, shielding strategy for EMI-sensitive signals, and the workmanship and test evidence that let a buyer trust a prototype will repeat in production. The engineering guidance published on this site reflects that hands-on, drawing-to-production perspective rather than generic catalog copy.
