Overview

Robot uptime often depends on a cable assembly that gets specified too late. Teach pendant cables are repeatedly bent, twisted, dragged, and reconnected during setup, maintenance, and program changes, so common failures usually come from kinked exits, broken conductors, unstable HMI or enable signals, and weak strain relief at the pendant or cabinet entry.

We build straight, coiled, and hybrid teach pendant cable assemblies for FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, Universal Robots, and custom HMIs. Assemblies can combine emergency-stop, enable switch, display, Ethernet/USB, and low-voltage power circuits as required, with braided, foil, or hybrid shielding selected according to signal type and EMI risk.

Our engineering review happens before quote so buyers can catch bend-radius issues, connector mismatch, pinout risk, and jacket selection problems before release. Typical sample lead time is 5-8 business days after spec review, production is typically 2-4 weeks at released BOM, and testing can include 100% continuity plus IR / hi-pot / shield verification by requirement.

If you need a manufacturable quote quickly, send your drawing, BOM, cable length, connector part numbers, quantity, and test requirements. We will respond with a manufacturability review, quotation path, and sample plan aligned to your robot, pendant, and plant environment.

Buyer Questions Before RFQ

What information should we send for quotation?

Please send drawing, BOM, cable length, connector part numbers, quantity, and test requirements so we can complete a manufacturability review and prepare the quote and sample plan.

Can you support mixed signal and power circuits in one pendant cable?

Yes. We support hybrid constructions for emergency-stop, enable, display, Ethernet/USB, and low-voltage power circuits as required, with shielding selected by signal and EMI risk.

How do you reduce field failure risk?

We review bend radius, exit direction, conductor construction, shielding approach, and strain relief before quote, then apply agreed testing such as 100% continuity and IR / hi-pot / shield verification by requirement.
