Vodotěsná kabelová sestava pro robot obvykle neselhává na viditelné straně konektoru, ale na zadním těsnění, toleranci průměru kabelu, geometrii zálisku, chemické odolnosti pláště a odlehčení tahu po pohybu. U programu 26 čisticích robotů se během prvních šesti týdnů objevily tři poruchy na kabelech kartáčové jednotky a senzorového sloupu po mytí a pohybu závěsu. Přezkum začíná před nabídkou: výkres, BOM, protikus konektoru, délka, způsob mytí, detergent nebo coolant, fotografie trasy a rozdělení vzorků a série. Určíme IP67, IP68 nebo IP69K a porovnáme zálisek, lepicí smršťovací bužírku, těsněný backshell i servisně vyměnitelný konektor. Zpracování kontrolujeme podle IPC-A-620, vodič podle UL-758 a trasovatelnost lze sladit s IATF 16949. Vzorky bývají za 5-8 pracovních dnů, výroba za 3-5 týdnů po schválení.

Is IP67 enough for a waterproof robot cable assembly?

Sometimes. IP67 can fit splash or brief immersion, but aggressive washdown, sanitizer, coolant mist, or pressure cleaning may require an IP68 or IP69K strategy plus rear-seal and overmold validation.

What information makes the quote accurate?

Send the drawing, BOM, mating connector, route photos, cable length, fluid exposure, target IP level, quantity split, and required tests. Without those details, suppliers guess at sealing and material choices.

Can you support samples before production MOQ?

Yes. Prototype validation has no forced MOQ. After samples are approved, production is quoted by pilot and annual demand with material lead time and test-report requirements shown clearly.
