When should we request quality recovery instead of a normal quote?

Use quality recovery when parts have already failed inspection, stopped a build, or reached a customer with a suspected cable defect. A normal quote prices new work; recovery first isolates the affected lot, verifies the root evidence, and defines replacement or rework before production restarts.

What evidence do you need to start an RMA review?

Send the drawing, BOM, connector list, photos, failed samples if available, lot number, test data, affected quantity, and the line-impact date. If the problem involves impedance or hi-pot, include the fixture, test method, and pass/fail threshold so the result can be repeated.

Can you rebuild parts to the original connector BOM?

Yes. We compare the active drawing and BOM against the received parts, verify mating connector data and crimp tooling, then rebuild or replace against the approved specification. Any substitute connector is treated as an approved deviation, not a silent change.
